Welcome to the New Season!

Garden Club members extend a warm welcome!

The leaves are barely beginning to fall, but the officers and committee chairs of the Garden Club of Irvington are working hard on bringing you the best year yet. Members have many exciting horticulture, floral design, photography, and conservation programs to look forward to. Non members are cordially invited to attend our free events, learn about us, and  consider joining and contributing to our growing club.

Mark your calendar now for our first public event, Tuesday morning, October 2o at the O’Hara Nature Center we will host Patricia Wood, founder and executive director of the Grassroots Environmental Education, who will present a program that may change how you live! Grassroots’ mission is to inform the public about the health risks of common environmental exposures and to empower individuals and organizations to act as catalysts for change via stricter regulation of chemical toxins in our air, water, food supply, and a wide range of consumer products — from fertilizers to cleaning products — that we use every day in and around our homes. More information and registration link to follow.

And while you’re here on our website, please take a look at the brand-new offerings on the Floral Design, Photography, and Garden Projects for You tabs.
